Pastor Reggie Hester became the pastor of Bethel in October of 2005. He attended High school in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. He and His wife Kay met in college at Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC. They were married in 1991and have three children Danielle (14), Davis (12), and Ross (7). Reggie earned both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Business Administration at Campbell University. He also has a Masters of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Reggie's passions are seeing people come to Christ and then shepherding them to grow through the scriptures. Reggie believes this is best accomplished through a firm commitment to expository preaching. Known to preach topically on occasion, most of his pulpit ministry involves preaching verse by verse through books of the bible. Reggie’s life verse is Philippians 1:21 “To live is Christ to die is gain.” |
| Steve Styron serves as our Director of Education and Business Administrator. Steve has completed his Masters of Theology and was ordained in 2009, when he came on staff as Senior Associate Pastor. We are blessed to have Steve and enjoy his talents and bible scholar-ly-ness. He has taken up the task of writing our Sunday School curriculum so that our members can learn verse by verse of God's Word. His administrative talents come from years of working with the Chesapeake School System. "I just want to teach the amazing Word of God and help people to better understand God's promises and the richness of His Word." |

Pastor Robert Earl Ange serves as the Associate Pastor to Senior Adults. He has been working in Senior Adult Ministries for the past 9 years here at Bethel Baptist Church. Being a senior adult himself he enjoys visiting shut-ins, teaching and serving at area nursing homes, doing Bible studies for senior adults, and heading up various activities, conferences and trips for the “young at heart”. Pastor Ange has a heart for senior adults who are lonely and strives to share the love of Jesus Christ. He has enlisted a great group of seniors who help him minister in 8 area nursing homes on a weekly/monthly basis. There is always room for one more, so give him a call and join the Bethel team!
